During Stay-at-Home amid the pandemic, we’ve pivoted our Chatham Artists-in-Schools Initiative so that students across Chatham who are learning from home have access to workshops by professional artists–made just for Chatham kids!
The Chatham community is incredible, and we’re grateful to the hardworking teachers and principals, the flexible artists, and the always-on parents for coming together to make this happen.
We believe that the arts are more important now than ever. The arts are how many children will start to make sense of this time in history–and they are a vehicle toward resilience and learning in new ways.
If you’d like your K-8 child to experience a virtual Chatham Artists-in-Schools Initiative residency, just CLICK HERE!
And if you can help us continue to bring arts residencies to all Chatham’s public elementary schools–something we’re working on even in pandemic times–you’ll be part of reaching nearly 400 educators and close to 3,000 kids! Click HERE to donate now.
These virtual residency options are powered by Chatham County, and the North Carolina Arts Council.
