SUMMARY:Slow Flow Yoga @ The Plant
DESCRIPTION:This slow-flow vinyasa class is focused on building strength and encouraging flexibility. Class begins with a short grounding and centering exercise during which students are guided into their breathwork practice\, followed by gentle movements to warm up the body. We’ll then move through modified sun salutations and standing postures\, after which\, inversions will be offered to support the circulatory system. The class will end with seated and reclined postures to cool the body down and prepare for savasana. Modifications are offered throughout practice\, and all levels are welcome! \nThis class will meet outside on the lawn in front of the stage\, or in Building 2 in the event of rain. If you have any questions\, head into Fair Game Beverage Company and someone there will show you where to go.

DESCRIPTION:Zumba Fitness is a dance inspired\, instructor led fitness class that feels like a party on the dance floor. Move and groove to international and latin rhythms from around the world while learning new dance steps in the process. Tanja has been teaching Zumba fitness classes since 2012 in and around Chatham County. She also teaches Zumba Gold classes for those who need a little less intensity\, have balance issues or injuries\, and still want to party\, but in a safe environment. SUMMARY:Slow Flow Yoga @ The Plant
DESCRIPTION:This slow-flow vinyasa class is focused on building strength and encouraging flexibility. Class begins with a short grounding and centering exercise during which students are guided into their breathwork practice\, followed by gentle movements to warm up the body. We’ll then move through modified sun salutations and standing postures\, after which\, inversions will be offered to support the circulatory system. The class will end with seated and reclined postures to cool the body down and prepare for savasana. Modifications are offered throughout practice\, and all levels are welcome! \nThis class will meet outside on the lawn in front of the stage\, or in Building 2 in the event of rain. If you have any questions\, head into Fair Game Beverage Company and someone there will show you where to go.

DESCRIPTION:OPEN to the PUBLIC! Recommended for ages 13 and up. Expect flashing lights and loud noises. You can purchase a ticket in advance or at the door. \nDrop in any time during operating hours to be admitted. Tours run roughly every five minutes. The last tour begins 10 minutes before closing time. \nOn 10-29-24\, dress up\, bring a bag & visit the Trunk or Treat event from 6-8pm in the back parking lot (sponsored by Seaforth club: Future Business Leaders of America). \nOn 10-30-24 we will have treats & water available for purchase before or after your tour (bring cash). \nThis is a Seaforth Performing Arts fundraiser! $5 for students\, $10 for adults. Free for Chatham County School faculty/staff. \nDirections: Please enter through side doors on the North side of the school\, near the bus lot. Event located in the Auditorium. Park in the front or back lot & walk to North side entrance. Ok to drop off passengers near the side doors before parking.

SUMMARY:Blackspace and Pierce Freelon at Bonlee School
DESCRIPTION:Building on his Emmy-winning Beat Making Lab\, Pierce Freelon and his fellow Blackspace artists will introduce practical beat making\, history\, and culture to youth in southwest Chatham. Pierce is especially focused on entrepreneurship through digital literacy\, which falls right in line with Chatham County’s focus on digital access and equity. Kids will love learning BandLab and other open source software for music editing. The residency will close with students performing alongside Blackspace artists for parents and the rest of their school.
