Artists-in-Schools: Pittsboro Elementary

This week, the students of Pittsboro Elementary will be immersed in the rich history and culture of the Hispanic artform of flamenco dance. Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana will weave core curricula such as ELA, history, and social studies into performance and classroom workshops. As students learn the skills and technique of flamenco, they’ll develop poise, social skills, and perseverance.
