Belle Boggs and Therese Anne Fowler present their New Novels

Belle Boggs’ new novel, The Gulf, is a timely debut that plumbs the troubled waters dividing America with sharp humor and deep empathy. She is also the author of The Art of Waiting and Mattaponi Queen. Her stories and essays have appeared in Orion, Harper’s, the Paris Review, Ecotone, Slate, and many other publications. She teaches in the MFA program at North Carolina State University.
Therese Anne Fowler ‘s newest novel, A Well-Behaved Woman, is a nod to Jane Austen and Edith Wharton as it depicts a glittering world of enormous wealth contrasted against desperate poverty, of social ambition and social scorn, of friendship and betrayal, and an unforgettable story of a remarkable woman. Fowler is the author of the New York Times bestselling novel Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald. Raised in the Midwest, she moved to North Carolina in 1995. She holds a BA in sociology/cultural anthropology and an MFA in creative writing from North Carolina State University.
