Students at Bennett School are in for a treat when actor, playwright, and teaching artist Mike Wiley comes to town. On day one of the residency, Mike will perform an original one-man play focusing on a Black historical figure. Past characters have included Jackie Robinson and Henry “Box” Brown. On days two and three, students will be in the classroom with Mike, and author Howard L. Craft, for writing workshops.
This residency is powered by the generous support of Miki Adams.
We at the Chatham Arts Council are delighted to provide the only online calendar exclusively dedicated to Chatham County arts events–performing, literary, and visual arts. Get out there and get inspired!
