Wes J. Bryant presents Hunting The Caliphate
September 7 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pmFree
For the first time ever, hear the ground truth on the war against ISIS from the men who started it.
In Hunting the Caliphate, co-authors Dana Pittard and Wes Bryant give a fascinating and no-holds-barred account of America’s fight against the most barbaric insurgency the world has ever seen. Be entertained, be riveted, and become enlightened as you learn the truth about how America’s war against ISIS began, how it has really been fought, and what steps need taken to ensure final defeat of the Islamic State and its terrorist networks.
Wes J. Bryant is a former Special Operations Forces Tactical Air Control Party Joint Terminal Attack Controller (SOF TACP JTAC), a member the elite ground combat forces of the U.S. Air Force. In 2014, he was the senior JTAC to establish the Baghdad Strike Cell, coordinating and controlling some of the first airstrikes of America’s war on ISIS. He continued as the senior airpower expert for numerous special operations task forces hunting ISIS throughout Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan until his retirement in early 2018. Wes holds a Bachelor’s in Asian Studies from the University of Maryland University College. He lives with his wife and daughters in Pittsboro. In addition to writing, he teaches traditional Kung Fu, Tai Chi and self-defense both at the 7 Dance Centre and through the Chatham YMCA.
