Pittsboro Gets Main Street Status; Raleigh Unveils Steampunk Public Art

This just in from Beth Turner and Samantha Birchard: Pittsboro wins Main Street Status!!! This status has been a boon for revitalization in many small towns. So, the possibilities are more open than ever before.

And speaking of possibilities, Emma Cabrera of Davenport Winkleperry Steampunk Gallery in PBO just sent me an announcement about the recent Raleigh unveiling of a giant steampunk public art installation: http://theballoonboys.com/?page_id=77. I want one.

Keep Chatham the best place to be for creative culture off the beaten path,
Molly Matlock
