We nurture creative thinkers
Stop by April 26th 5 – 8 PM when Sarah Ann Austin demos how she makes her Artisan Animal Hair brushes with local bamboo handles. And Coy Quakenbush shows us how he uses Sarah’s brushes to produce the intricate designs indicative of his designs on burnished pottery.
Also view our member’s new works on display in many mediums: oil, acrylics, watercolor, pen and ink, pastels, unique prints, photography, furniture and decorative boxes, ceramics, polychrome and kintsugi style vessels, basketry, jewelry, fiber arts, sculptural works in clay, wood, stone, steel, and bronze.
Pittsboro Gallery is located at 44-A Hillsboro Street, a few steps north of the County Courthouse circle. When you visit you’ll find it’s a destination gallery situated in a historic, bustling small town.
Owned and operated by local and regional artists, our purpose is to exhibit and offer an opportunity for art lovers and patrons to see, purchase and collect fine art and fine crafts.
The show runs from April 2nd through April 30th.
