So, we’ve got our beloved ClydeFEST coming up on Saturday, May 2, and we are already getting deep into the planning to celebrate creativity with the kiddos! If you don’t know about ClydeFEST yet, you can click here to find out more–or you can just know that a whole passel of parents have told us it’s the best event for families with young kids in the Triangle.
Making art requires fuel, so food is big part of ClydeFEST. If you know of a food truck that would be just perfect for a sunny day at the Bynum Ballfield, send them on over to our online application to be a food vendor at ClydeFEST. There’s no fee to participate–apart from agreeing to feed some extraordinary volunteers–and you can’t help but feel good about being there.
Food vendor applications must be submitted by February 6 February 20 (extra time!), and we’ll let folks know whether they’re in for this year by February 21 February 28.
And of course, ClydeFEST wouldn’t be complete without the totally delightful creative opportunities so many Chatham County nonprofits bring to the field. If your group would like a booth this year (or you want more info), please fill out our online application to be a group participant at ClydeFEST–and start thinking about what your activity will be!

Where else can you hang out with about 2,000 very happy parents and kids under huge circus tents, playing old-world handmade games, eating good food, and creating crazy critters alongside a nationally recognized folk artist–with nary a video game or TV in sight?
