Catch Bear Roots at Pittsboro Pride! Based in Pittsboro, North Carolina, this queer acoustic Americana and sacred folk duo features musicians Lolly Dunlap and Amy Durso, who have been making music together for more than six years.
Their sound brings together warm acoustic guitar, close vocal harmonies, and gentle percussion. Their songs explore spiritual reclamation, healing from religious trauma, self-discovery, and inclusive community. Bear Roots describes their work as “washing songs free of dogma” and connecting with the divine through nature and personal reflection.
Featuring music from their newly release studio album, By and By. They’ll be joined by Garth Robertson and Will Ridenour for sets at 12:00 noon and 3:45 p.m. Come celebrate with us!
