Arts + Equity Proposal Page

  • READ THIS FIRST, PLEASE!

This is a new initiative, and we're learning! We estimate that the whole thing will take you between 20 and 50 minutes to complete. When you press submit on your proposal, you'll have an anonymous chance to let us know what you liked--and what we can do better.
  • AND ALSO THIS . . .

In our conversations with artists and panelists over the past year, we heard from quite a few folks that non-writer artists would love to have some non-text-based ways to communicate their ideas. This makes sense! When your first language is music or movement or charcoal pencil, that's how you show your truest self. We've created our Arts + Equity proposal page with this in mind.
  • THE USUAL STUFF

This helps us understand what parts of Chatham's geography we're serving--and where we're missing.
  • QUESTIONS OF IDENTITY

        • I understand that if I receive Arts + Equity funding, the requirement for reporting is this: I'll share with you five photos (captions included) of my art-making process via your online form. You'll feature those photos in a public process-sharing about all the Arts+Equity artists this season, and the photos will serve to document my work and use of the funds. That's it.
        • BEFORE YOU PRESS GO

After you submit, you'll see a link to a totally anonymous feedback form about the proposal structure. It's exactly 3 super-quick questions. While it's 100% not required, we'd be grateful for your answers on that.
