Celebrate the Spirit at the Joyful Jewel

The Joyful Jewel has already become a local landmark and destination in downtown Pittsboro — and soon they’ll celebrate their 2nd year anniversary! Patrons come in often for their own inspiration, to adorn themselves, and their homes, and to bring their out of town company to show off the beauty that local artists are creating. The art work is representative of over 100 of the most creative artists from Chatham and surrounding counties.  While some are already well known, others are just getting started in their craft.  Often an artist will make something and bring it right over hot from their fingertips!  There’s always something new to entertain your senses.  The Joyful Jewel is open seven days a week:  Mon.-Sat. 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Sun. 12-4 p.m.

You’re invited to celebrate The Joyful Jewel’s 2-Day 2-Year Anniversary Extravaganza starting Sat., September 15. Festivities begin at 10:30 a.m. and last until 9 p.m. If that’s not enough, stop by Sept. 16 from noon until 4 p.m.  On that day visitors will enjoy live music, poetry readings, story telling, a face painter and silhouette artist, as well as wine tastings and a chance to meet some of the artists.  There will also be a first annual, one time only, sale of the year. Look for 10% off all purchases on those two days.

Check the Joyful Jewel’s website for up-to-date information about special events and sales and  to learn more about your favorite Joyful Jewel artists. A program schedule for Sept. 15 & 16 is there, too.
