Day of the Books
This one-of-a-kind festival celebrates early childhood with a joyful mix of literacy, creativity, and cultural pride. Kids will take home a free bilingual book, explore interactive art stations, and dance along to live performances that reflect the rich traditions of Latin America. The event is especially meaningful for many Siler City families, as it honors El Día del Niño, a Latin American holiday dedicated to children. The Chatham Arts Council is thrilled to help support this beloved gathering through the Grassroots Arts Grant, in partnership with the North Carolina Arts Council.
