We nurture creative thinkers
Join us in commemorating Race Amity Day in Pittsboro, NC, with the theme “One Human Family,” presented by Partners in Racial Justice and Chatham County Unity Coalition on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center in Pittsboro, North Carolina. This year’s theme is “One Human Family.” This free, family-friendly event promises a vibrant afternoon filled with art, music, song, poetry, theater, storytelling, children’s activities, and more.
Race Amity Day is rooted in the belief that building relationships across racial and cultural boundaries is essential to creating a more inclusive, equitable, and compassionate society. The day will uplift voices from diverse backgrounds, celebrate shared humanity, and inspire connections that foster lasting change.
“We invite everyone—no matter your background, age, or beliefs—to come together in the spirit of friendship, mutual respect, and joy,” said event organizers. “This is a day for community, creativity, and celebration.”
The Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center, located at 1192 US-64 Business in Pittsboro, provides a welcoming and accessible venue. Attendees can expect a dynamic mix of local artists, performers, storytellers, and community organizations coming together to honor the values of unity and justice. Please join us!
