Calling all Artists! Apply Now for the Artist Support Grant

Artists – listen up. This is for you! We have an exciting grant opportunity you won’t want to miss.

Like last year, we are partnering with the fine folks at the NC Arts Council, United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County, and other local arts councils to bring the Artist Support Grant to Chatham County artists. The Artist Support Grant is intended to support a broad range of talented artists in the genres of visual arts, performing arts, literary arts, music composition, choreography, and interdisciplinary arts. We encourage diverse and nontraditional artists to apply for the grant. As you all know, funding opportunities for individual artists are rare—particularly in the performing arts—so this is pretty special. Artist Support Grants range up to $1,500.

  • Eligibility: This Artist Support Grant is open to artists living in Chatham, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Wake counties. Eligible candidates may be either emerging or established artists and both individual artists and small, unincorporated groups of collaborating artists can apply. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to spending a significant portion of their time on their work as artists. Learn more here.
  • Deadline: The deadline for this grant is fast-approaching – it’s Wednesday, Sept.1, so get in there and apply now!

Good luck!
