Kid-friendlyIn Chatham County

Musician and teaching artist Diali Cissokho will introduce the West African kora, drumming, and singing to students in a performance at George Moses Horton Middle School. Then he’ll work with seventh graders for the rest of the week in classroom workshops, highlighting math and global studies through music. The kids will work with Diali to create and rehearse a performance where they’ll get to show off their new talents on the final day of the residency.
