Mike Wiley Productions at Siler City Elementary

Kids in northwest Chatham will be awed by the daring adventures of Henry “Box” Brown, an enslaved man who shipped himself to freedom. Mike Wiley, with the help of audience members, will perform his one-man play One Noble Journey, which chronicles Henry’s courageous escape. Then, students will attend classroom workshops with Mike and fellow playwright and poet Howard Craft, to explore creative writing using fun, sometimes even silly prompts for poems.
