Friday + Saturday: We need you!

Gilda McDaniel and Stephan Meyers make it all go.

Those are our two superhero ClydeFEST ringleaders up there, and we are calling all volunteerin’ types, champions of creativity, and longtime fans of ClydeFEST.

Can you give ClydeFEST three hours on Friday or Saturday?  We’re gearing up for a big day, and we sure could use your help.

Our biggest needs?  So glad you asked!

This Friday, May 1:  5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

An old-fashioned tent-raising!  We need about 7 more folks to help us get those fabulous Shakori tents up.  You don’t need brawn (or too many brains, either!).  We just need numbers, and the good folks of Shakori will show us where to stand, what to hold, and when to let go.  Sign up here!

This Saturday, May 2:  Any three hour shift from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

We still need folks who can write names on Critter cut-outs, make sure folks don’t park in residents’ driveways, paint tiny happy faces, smile and point, and  more.  Sign up here!

Being a part of making ClydeFEST go is super-rewarding.  And you get to enjoy the sun, the laughter, the kids’ smiles.  Oh, and also you get our never-ending gratitude.  A whole heap of it.

Please sign up here so we know when to count on you.

It only takes a sec!  And you’ll be helping create this kind of joy…

About Cheryl Chamblee

Cheryl serves as Executive Director of the Chatham Arts Council, and she's been helping lead the organization since 2012. Cheryl's earliest creative memory is of being three years old and making a Three Wise Men craft with Q-Tips, construction paper, and cardboard with her mama. And yes, she still has it.
